3. Pay affiliation fee and entry fee (as automatically appeared on your spread sheet) before closing date

Adjudication
A prerequisite for all adjudicators at this festival is experience as a teacher and registration at the council for adjudicators (RAB). Adjudication should be an uplifting learning experience for teachers and candidates alike

1. In each section no more than 10 entries per item per studio or school will be allowed

2. No communication with the adjudicator will be allowed. Requests should be allocated tot the secretary at the table. Adjudication is final

3. Please follow the regulations as given for each item

4. Foul language should be excluded from scripts

5. Choices should be age appropriate, please

6. Participation in the Pierneefteater Arts Festival is at participants own risk

Prepared Reading

Time limit: Prepare a piece to read of 1 to 3 minutes
Presentation: Read from the original hard copy of the book. Make a copy of the piece for the adjudicator.
The piece should begin on one page and continue on the next to demonstrate the reader’s ability to turn a page. The piece should consist of a descriptive part and a dialogue. Announce the name of the book and the author before you start reading. Eye contact, oral interpretation and facial expression is important.
